Nelson Valenzuela

Nelson is not your everyday mortgage lender. His story is one of passion, perseverance and commitment. Like many of his colleagues, he knows that making the decision to purchase a home is one of the biggest decisions his clients will make, and oftentimes one that will change their lives. He understands that many first-time buyers can be overwhelmed by the enormity of the process. And, he has dedicated his career to become the trusted advisor to help them achieve the American Dream.

Nelson starts with education. There can be many obstacles to overcome to achieve homeownership, especially for those for whom English is a second language. Nelson will take the time necessary to explain all the facets necessary for financing a home. From building to re-building, credit to down payment requirements, income documentation and even down payment assistance, Nelson helps his clients navigate the options and put together a plan to move them toward their mortgage financing goals. When the time is right, Nelson introduces clients to programs designed specifically with their needs in mind. First time homebuyer, MHFA, FHA or conventional…Nelson is adept at listening and searching for the solution that is best-matched for the circumstance.

English is a second language for Nelson, making his ability to transcend cultures a special gift for many of his clients. Following his graduation from the University of Chile, Nelson began his career in business in the US. Over 10 years ago, he transitioned to the mortgage industry and has been following his passion ever since.

When not at work, expect to find Nelson with family. He enjoys a good game of soccer or table tennis, and looks forward to travel when his work is done.
