Tyler Stehr

Like many folks that have the love of farming running through their veins, Tyler most enjoys the opportunity for constant learning – getting out in the field, talking with other farmers, and understanding what they do to make their farms successful operations and why. Growing up on a crop farm in Goodhue, Minnesota instilled in Tyler the appreciation for the planning, flexibility and the business acumen that separates the farms that succeed from those that struggle.

Following his formal education in Agribusiness at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, Tyler moved into a formal lending training program that gave him a deeper insight to the tools available to support farming financial needs. During this time, he solidified his commitment to become a trusted resource in the farming community.

Tyler joined MidCountry Bank in early 2018 to round out the Agricultural Services team. His natural curiosity and collaborative approach to the business is ideally suited to a community that is grounded in farming. He and his wife Emilee now call the area home, and are actively farming themselves. Tyler also is getting involved in local organizations such as the Corn and Soybean Growers of McLeod and Sibley Counties, and hopes to expand his connections through community involvement.

Eager to engage in the process on behalf of MidCountry Bank and support his neighbors, Tyler shared, “I look forward to learning about each operation, and finding ways in which I can help the operation succeed.”
