WACONIA, MN – (September, 2017) – Residents of Waconia and those who frequent its business district will soon witness construction activity taking shape at the MidCountry Bank branch, located at 200 East Frontage Road, Highway 5, Waconia. Work begins in September on a new branch sign, and is expected to conclude by early October.
Waconia Planning Commission approved the project plan in August 2017, which includes the removal of the current sign, construction of a new retaining wall and landscape feature, and installation of the newly designed branch sign. A temporary banner will be used to identify MidCountry Bank during the construction phase.
Market Team Leader and Branch Manager Mark Nettesheim commented on the project’s benefit to both the bank and to the community, “MidCountry’s location near the entrance of the business district provides an opportunity to make a positive statement for those visiting our community. We are looking forward to the improvement.”
