BLOOMINGTON, MN (September, 2016) – MidCountry Bank has promoted Jillian Botz to Systems and Operations Director, effective October 1, 2016. Botz began her career with MidCountry Bank in 2003 as a Personal Banker. In her 13 years at MidCountry she’s had a variety of roles providing a range of experiences and growth opportunities. Her roles as Branch Manager and also an Area Sales Manager allowed her to deliver market growth, and demonstrate leadership as a member of a project team tasked with converting our core data processing system.
Her most recent position at MidCountry was eCommerce Manager where she led the build of online and mobile banking capabilities to expand our service delivery to customers. “Jillian’s ability to craft and execute a strategic vision has played an essential role in enhancing our customer experience,” says Maureen O’Brien-Wieser, COO for MidCountry Bank. “We look forward to the impact she will make from an operational perspective.” As Systems and Operations Director, Botz will lead several teams and service delivery channels. She will provide direction in supporting and maintaining systems and processes that optimize the success of MidCountry Bank and its customers.
Botz is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire with a degree in Organizational Leadership and Communication, a graduate of the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking, and has a Leadership Certificate from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She was a Finance & Commerce Magazine “Top Women in Finance” honoree in 2015.
